Gwent County Information
Information from Gwent County FA
1.A player suspended while playing Sunday League football for 'on field' offences will NOW no longer be suspended from this League and he must serve his suspension with the Sunday team.
A player suspended while playing on a 'Saturday' will be suspended from all football until the 'senior' club (Saturday) has played the required number of matches relevant to the period of suspension.
Any person, player or club official suspended by a Disciplinary Committee of Gwent County will be suspended from ALL football for the length of the suspension.

2. TROPHY PRESENTATION NIGHT
This season's Presentation Night will be held on Thursday 17th May 2012 at the Ex Servicemens Club, Ebbw Vale commencing at 8.00pm. the evening will include presentation of trophies, comedian Mike Doyle and refreshments.
This is a COMPULSORY 'meeting' to which ALL CLUBS must be represented (a roll call will be made at 7.50 pm).
All Referees are cordially invited to attend. For any further information please contact the Secretary.
3. Nominations for Officers and Executive Members.
Clubs are reminded that nominations for Officers and Executive Members are to be made, in writing, to the Secretary by Friday 18th May 2012. Nominations received after that date will not be accepted.

TOM PERKINS CUP FINAL
Congratulations to Neuadd Wen A on winning this cup, beating Cwm FC 2 - 1 to complete the League and Cup Double.
ROLY PARFITT CUP FINAL
Congratulations to Abercarn on winning this Cup, defeating Tredegar Arms 2 - 1
CHAMPIONS FINALLY DECIDED
With only six days of the League season remaining the final Champions and Runners Up places were finally decide with Neuadd Wen A winning 3 - 0 at The Oak.

Congratulations go to NEUADD WEN A who will now be promoted to Gwent County (if the criteria is met to a satisfactory level).
UNREGISTERED PLAYERS
It has been unofficially been brought to our attention that some Clubs are using players who are NOT registered to their team. If Clubs wish to make an official complaint it must be done through the correct channels with names being supplied and with proof.
However when fixtures resume, it is the intention of the Executive Committee to carry out RANDOM Licence checks throughout the Leagues when Clubs must provide the players' licences on the day of the match to correspond with the names on Team Sheets.
Any discrepancy found. the Club will be dealt with as per Rule. Therefore will Club Secretaries please ensure ALL licences are available on the day.
